We believe AI should be owned, not rented.
DiscreteStack exists because enterprises deserve to run AI on their own terms — on their own infrastructure, under their own governance, at a cost they can predict.
An impossible choice
Every enterprise is adopting AI. But the current options force an impossible choice: rent intelligence from Big Tech and lose control of your data, or build from scratch and drown in operational complexity. I've lived on both sides of this.
My career started as an individual contributor across telecom and fintech. Later, I switched to entrepreneurship by co-founding the first Google Certified Development Agency in Eastern Europe, which led to a successful exit in 2018. Next came CleverPine — growing to 110+ engineers delivering mission-critical systems across aviation, fintech, and enterprise software, culminating in a joint venture with Lufthansa Technik (VAeroLabs).
Across every engagement, I saw the same pattern: regulated enterprises needed AI that behaved like the rest of their critical infrastructure — something they deploy, govern, and scale themselves. Not another vendor dependency.
A private AI operating system
We took a different route. Instead of spending billions training foundation models, we get head start with the best open-weight models already available — and focused on making them production-ready and enterprise-grade.
Every deployment is compiled specifically for the GPUs it runs on — from drivers and attention backends to native-precision model optimization. Not a generic install. A build tuned to extract maximum performance from the exact machines our customers use.
Behind that, we designed an intelligent runtime. The layer that predicts which requests are lightweight and need a quick answer, and which will require multi-step reasoning and heavy compute. It knows what to cache to avoid redundant computation, and how the system adapts as usage patterns shift.
That's the difference between AI that works in a demo and AI that holds up when 300 developers hit it on a Monday morning.
The business model is designed to be as enterprise-friendly as the product — predictable for Finance, clean for Legal, simple for Procurement.
AI that behaves like infrastructure, not like a service
Built to hold up when 300 developers hit it on a Monday morning — without usage or cost surprises.
Built on operational experience
DiscreteStack is an independent company. My background — building CleverPine into one of Europe's leading software engineering firms, partnering with Lufthansa Technik through VAeroLabs — gave us something most AI startups don't have: deep operational experience delivering enterprise-grade systems in environments where failure isn't tolerated.
We don't theorize about enterprise AI. We ship it.
Own your AI infrastructure
AI is becoming the operating layer of every business. The question isn't whether you'll use it — it's whether you'll own it or rent it. We believe the companies that own their AI infrastructure will have a structural advantage over those that don't — in cost, in speed, in control, and in trust.
We're building DiscreteStack to make that ownership possible for every enterprise, not just the ones with hyperscaler budgets and dedicated ML teams.
